Terms and Conditions

TiPi Tent Soiree, LLC provides you with a contract with our policy and terms of our service agreement. It is YOUR responsibility to read all aspects of the contract. You are required to sign that you agree to those terms. Please ask your Soirée Concierge for clarification if there are any questions regarding the policies before reserving your Soiree.

"The Rental Company" is TiPi Tent Soirees, LLC. "The Client" is YOU the person who books the Equipment or utilizes the Company services. "The Equipment" means the entirety of material goods provided by "The Rental Company" for the use of the "Client".

These Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements entered into between the Rental Company and the Client, unless expressly excluded in writing by the Rental Company. Clients that pay their deposit or the total cost of their party are expressly agreeing to and are stating that they have read these Rental Agreement terms.

Client will take all necessary precautions regarding the items rented and protect all persons and property from injury or damage. Client agrees to hold TiPi Tent Soirees harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, judgments, attorneys' fees, and costs of every kind and nature, including, but not limited to, injuries or death to persons and damage of property, arising out of the use, maintenance- installation, operation, possession, ownership, or rental of the items rented, despite cause.


Note: TiPi Tent Soirees does not host children’s parties! BUT We love the kids so, we will host Sweet 16; Bar mitzvahs; Quinceañera; Graduation Parties, and milestone celebrations. Limit age is 14yrs old.  All children attending must have a waiver on file signed by their legal guardian.


Any child that attends under the age of 13yrs old, the parent or legal guardian assumes all risk, not limited to injury, death, or death due from injury.


  • Refundable Security Deposit.

A refundable security deposit of $150 is due upon booking to cover any damages or additional cleaning beyond the standard cleaning. Once property is checked and confirmed that no property is left in an unsatisfactory condition, your security deposit will be fully refunded to the same method of payment within one week after soirée date.

Please add deposit into final payment. If you are booking after the 14day required time frame your total soirée fee and deposit are due at booking. 



Client is fully aware of and acknowledges that there is a risk of injury, death, or damage arising out of the use or operation of the items contained in the Rental Agreement and hereby elects to voluntarily enter into this Agreement and assume all the aforementioned risks. Client agrees to release and discharge TiPi Tent Soiree from all responsibility or liability from such injury, death, or damage arising out of the use or operation of the rental items. Client further agrees to waive, release, and discharge all claims for injury, death, or damage against TiPi Tent Soirees, which client otherwise may be entitled to assert.



Client agrees to be charged 3 times the current rate of said item, with card on file, of any item that is damaged PLUS MARKET RATE at time of incident when damage is beyond repair, lost, or stolen. Damaged items that can be repaired must be returned in their broken state to be eligible for lesser repair costs.



TiPi Tent Soiree makes no representation about the suitability of the equipment for any purpose. It is provided "as is" and without any warranty. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSIONS OF AN IMPLIED WARRANTY, so PORTIONS OF THIS DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS THAT VARY BY JURISDICTION.



The laws of the State of Maryland shall govern this Contract. TiPi Tent Soiree, LLC specifically and irrevocably agrees, to submit any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Contract, or the breach thereof, to resolution by arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association (A.A.A. a judgment upon any award rendered by the arbitrators and all Soirees expressly waive any challenge to the use of arbitration in accordance with this Paragraph. TiPi Tent Soiree, LLC hereto agrees that jurisdiction and venue for the hearing of the arbitration and the entry of judgment upon said arbitration award shall be in Courts Baltimore, Maryland. The arbitrators are directed to award the expenses of the arbitration, including required travel and other expenses of the arbitrators and any costs of the arbitrators' representatives, the costs and charges of the American Arbitration Association, all reasonable attorney's fees and costs, to the prevailing party in the arbitration. A court having subject matter jurisdiction therein shall enter.



The Company will never pass on, sell, or distribute Client information to any third party.



The Rental Agreement may be executed or delivered by email, or other electronic means such as fax. The Rental Agreement is valid whether properly signed by the Customer or not, so long as the Customer takes possession of the rental items. It is also valid if signed by another party signing on behalf of the Customer, in which case the signing party will sign their own name, and then print C/O (Care Of) "Ordering Party."



TiPi Tent Soirees agrees to reserve all items required for the specified party, confirmed in the Booking email, on behalf of the Client only after A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit equal to 50% of the total cost specified (or a lesser amount determined at the sole discretion of TiPi Tent Soirees) is received by the client. The remaining balance of the party cost must be paid 14 days prior to delivery unless otherwise specified by TiPi Tent Soirees. If you are booking your Soiree after the 14-day timeline, the Total Rental Fee is due prior to day of event. If this obligation is not met, TiPi Tent Soirees reserves the right to either cancel the party rental without refunding the initial 50% deposit or offer to reschedule based on available dates.


Client's right to possession of the rental items: Is for the specified 4hrs noted in above agreement and any "STAY OVER" (See "Stay Over description above) period (or multiple nights if agreed upon in the rental agreement. If the Renter/Client is unavailable, the equipment may be signed for by an individual designated by the renter. This individual is automatically given the legal right by the renter to accept liability for the equipment on the renter's behalf. The rental agreement terminates once TiPi Tent Soirees has regained possession of the rental equipment. Title of the rental items shall, at all times, remain with TiPi Tent Soirees, with the exception of items that are specifically given to the client, such as souvenirs. Client authorizes TiPi Tent Soirees to retake possession of the rental items without notice or legal process at any time, despite whether the equipment is on private property.



TiPi Tent Soiree reserves the right to refuse to install or deliver rental equipment due to unsafe conditions or weather. If this occurs, Customer will be liable for a minimum of 50% of the total cost specified in the Rental Agreement. In the absence of unsafe weather or other conditions, TiPi Tent Soiree will use all appropriate means and methods to secure the rental equipment for the safety of the Customer and the equipment. TiPi Tent Soiree is not responsible for underground utilities, or property/land damage. If permission is granted by the Client to stake anything into the ground at their desired location, then it is the sole responsibility of the Client to check for underground utilities



Planning and measuring are ultimately the responsibility of the Client. If poor planning leads to improperly measured areas for placement of Teepees or Bell tents, resulting in our inability to complete a job, then no refunds will be given. In addition to being stated on our FAQ page, the Measurements needed are as follows:

Bell tents: Each Bell tent is 10 - 16ft in diameter, after staking the diameter is approximately 25ft.



If your address is in Baltimore City- Your delivery is FREE! We are based in Baltimore City and wanted to give our community FREE delivery.

If your address is 20-miles outside of Baltimore City - You will pay the regular delivery rate of $50 1 mile and .$58 each additional mile.

Example: Laural, MD is 21.6 mi from Baltimore City. There will be an additional $50 added for travel. 

Rental Only- Deliver Fees

TiPi Tent Soiree Rental's Set-up Only - (No Décor)

Diva TiPi Tents - $50 (Tent Only) + extended area fee outside of Baltimore City.
Magnolia; Bell Fleur; Sweet Bay; The Dive Magnolia Outdoor Soiree Tip's - $150 (Set-up Only- (No Décor) + extended area fee outside of Baltimore City. 
If your address is outside of our 30-mile radius - You will pay our extended setup and delivery fee of a flat $200 delivery rate. TiPi Tent Soiree reserves the right to charge a higher rate, which will be presented prior to your official booking.

If you are more than 50 miles outside of Baltimore City - On a case-by-case basis. Travel, set up and delivery will be charged by mileage and type of party $250 & Up.


Delivery Time - Our delivery and pick-up time will be agreed upon in our booking. During either delivery or pick up we will grant a 15-minute waiting period, after which the client will be charged $20 per every 15 minutes additional.

A Few Answers to your questions:

What is the age your Soiree is geared towards?


For very limited exceptions to this rule, a minor waiver agreement must be signed by legal guardian. Maximum number of minors - 5.


What if I must reschedule or cancel?

  • Cancellation Policy - If your Soiree needs to be canceled due to an illness, weather, or family emergency, we will do our best to reschedule your Soirée to a new date and time and your deposit will be applied to your new Soirée date. It is your responsibility to make your guests are aware of the Soiree date change and/or cancellation. We do not move soirée set up indoors due to weather. If weather is calling for light rain, your soiree will go on as scheduled. If YOU chose to cancel your event and TiPi Tent Soirees deems the weather is safe and suitable for set up, but your request to cancel your event less than one week prior to your event, you will not be refunded any portion of your payment. WE DO NOT MAKE REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS! BUT

If your Soiree is canceled two weeks or more prior to your event and you do not want to reschedule, you will lose your deposit and 5% of any additional funds received.

 PLEASE NOTE: TiPi Tent  Soirées supplies high quality, durable 4 Season (all-weather) TiPi's. We think of the safety of our clients and their guest. Your TiPi's can withstand the rain and can be heated when the TiPi is closed. We will never put you nor your guest in harm's way. 


Any Deposit required?

  • There is a 50% deposit required for all Soirées. There will be a $125 administrative fee if your Soiree is canceled after 3 weeks of Soirée's scheduled date. If the Soiree is canceled less than 2 weeks from your Soiree date, 100% of your deposit is non-refundable.

If the equipment is not available for pickup or returned as previously specified, we reserve the right to charge a flat-rate service FEE of $30 & Up for the extra time and an additional $10 per minute over the specified pickup time. Also see Terms and Policies explaining additional charges for damaged, stolen, or stained Soirée equipment.

 PLEASE NOTE: We have soirée's scheduled after most events. Your late pick-up will cause someone's soirée experience to be delayed, and we wanted want that, RIGHT? 


How much time does it take to set up a Soiree?

  • 1hr to 3 1/2 Hour set-up depending on TiPi Tent size and package size.

  • 1 - 3hr takedown - Give or Take depending on the package size.

  • TiPi Tent Soiree Staff and their counterparts are NOT RESPONSIBLE for cleaning up event remnants of any kind. TiPi Tent Soiree Staff are strictly responsible for décor, tent set up, and break down services only.

Is there gratuity or service tips included in price?

  • There is a gratuity for any events TiPi Soiree Staff is required to stay longer than set up i.e.

  • Servicing, hosting etc. All tips/gratuity are %20 payable by charge at the end of the event.
    If you think the service our staff has provided for you is excellent, please let us know. Tips are not required for deliveries and set-up staff but are always appreciated.


How much space is needed for soiree stay over's?

  • Depending on the size of the tent you order will determine the amount of space you'll need. Please see the dimensions of the assorted tents. Please make sure you have an open area, that is clutter-free, and a safe space for your guest to entertain. It is your responsibility to make sure there is enough space to accommodate the TiPi with an open and unobstructed walkway to allow your guests to get in and out of the TiPi safely. Outdoor Bell Tent 22'-24' in circumference and 11' in height For any large size Bell Tents sizes 3m - 4m - 5m a representative must come or Zoom Meet and visibly see your yard for space approval.

  • Due to COVID-19 all décor and linens are PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED!

  • Our linens, pillows, throws and cushions are professionally laundered by a local company here in Baltimore, Maryland.


What should I expect on delivery day in my TiPi Tent Soiree?

  • You should expect all items listed in the TiPi Soiree package, including delivery, set up, styling, breakdown, collection/pick up, laundering of linens, and disinfecting of all items.


Do I need power for my TiPi Tent Soiree?

  • Not actually: The lights we use are SOLAR/BATTERY and on a sunny day DO NOT require power BUT if there are special set-up needs such as projector, sound system do require power.

  • If you are hosting a movie night or renting any of Our electronic equipment, (i.e. projector and screen), power of at least 300 voltage is required.


What Additional Terms and Policies Should I Be Aware Of?

*For Custom Theme Inquiries, we require a 4-week notice and paid deposit fee for any custom theme requests. We aim to meet your request, but we are not miracle workers. We will customize your event as close as we possibly can, however, it may not be identical. WE DO NOT HOST THEMED EVENTS THAT ARE SYMBOLS OF ANY TRADEMARKED. i.e., Characters.
